Blues on the Rocks
Introducing the band members...
 |
Cheryl Bendig -vocals, guitar, booking and promotion
- ASCAP Email Me:
Lead vocalist Cheryl Bendig delivers the songs in a voice that has the raw power of Janis Joplin but the finesse of Ann Wilson"- Smith. " Cheryl has been a singer and writer since her teens. She is the primary lyricist for the band. "Vocalist Cheryl Bendig is nothing less than superb; her voice has an addictive flower child quality that recalls the great pop singers of the '60s."

Paul Bendig - bass, vocals, stage and equipment manager
- ASCAP Email Me:
Paul's early influences were 70's bluesrock bands like the Allman Brothers and ZZ Top. 70's and 80's rock songs also played a big part. When he roadied for a neighborhood band at 15, he learned about the logistics end of the show. Paul's bass is dead on and precise. "I found Cheryl and I had music in common and deided to take a chance. Now I get to make music with a great group of friends and have the time of my life." |

Herb "The Battery" Cottier been rocking on guitar since the age of 13. When his buddies were partying, he was practicing. He has been steadily jamming for the last 20 years, most recently a six year run with Duke and the Studebakers. His repertoire covers a variety of styles, from jump starting rock, blazing blues chops, to funky grooves. When CNV slaps the paddles on, the Battery delivers the power. Herb joined CNV in December of 2007.

 |
Hank Cupp - percussion
- Email Me:
Hank started his musical experiences around the Southwestern Michigan area and continued through college in Mt. Pleasant. He has lived in Northern Michigan for many years, making music all of them. He's played in jazz, rock, and big bands for decades. "I love the blues best and am thrilled to be a member of CNV." |
